Métis Rights and Regulatory Affairs Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Métis Rights and Regulatory Affairs Lead to join our team at Métis Nation British Columbia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of an internal referrals process for our Consultation and Accommodation work, developing mutually respectful relationships with Métis Chartered Communities, federal, provincial, and municipal levels of government, stakeholders, and other organizations.
Key responsibilities include updating our Consultation Guidelines, creating strong process-oriented engagement tables both internally and externally, and working closely with our Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Food Security and the Ministry of Economic Development, Partnerships and Tourism.
The Métis Rights and Regulatory Affairs Lead will work collaboratively with the Director of Métis Rights, Negotiations, and Justice and the Senior Manager of Métis Rights to provide expert management and advice on this work.
