Salary & BenefitsAs a Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will have the opportunity to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week). The estimated annual salary for this position is $106,700.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives.
Job DescriptionThis is a key role within FortisBC's regulatory affairs team, responsible for managing regulatory applications and filings, leading cross-functional teams, and establishing strong relationships with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Application Management: Ensure timely and compliant submission of regulatory applications, including development, review, and submission.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to encapsulate all aspects of regulatory matters, identifying and communicating risks to the corporate strategy through regulatory analysis.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key leaders across the company, external regulatory legal counsel, and the BCUC.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university, plus a minimum of six years of recent and related regulatory experience with a regulated company or regulatory body.
- A Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
- A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- A proven track record in producing high-quality written documents, such as applications and responses to information requests for submission to the BCUC.
