Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Chevron Town Pantry. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll and benefits for employees, including calculating salaries, bonuses, and other benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks and Xero. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
