We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at CAPRI MOTOR INN LTD. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing a clear picture of our company's financial health.
- Post journal entries, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Prepare trial balance of books, verifying the accuracy of our financial records.
- Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
