The Centre Block Rehabilitation Project is a long-term heritage renovation, rehabilitation, and rejuvenation project of national interest within the Parliamentary Precinct. You will work closely with our dedicated team to renovate, repair, upgrade, and replace various crucial components of the building.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Contribute to the production of architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
  • Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the drawings to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as an architect in Ontario (OAA) or eligibility to be registered.
  • 10+ years of experience in heritage conservation and restoration.
  • Knowledge of conservation design principles.
  • Familiarity with Provincial and National related standards and codes.
  • Proficiency in BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam.
  • Specialized training in Heritage Conservation would be considered an asset.

Estimated annual salary: $120,000 - $180,000 CAD depending on experience.
