Job Title: Automotive Service Technician - Engine Repair Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Excelsior Auto Service. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, with a focus on engine repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, including engine problems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Provide customer service

Requirements:

  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and attention to detail
