We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Excelsior Auto Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, confirming findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and requires strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. You will be working in a dusty and noisy environment, but we provide a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
