Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

Excelsior Auto Service is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and brake system problems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in automotive repair.
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
