Truck and Coach Maintenance Specialist

The Truck and Coach Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our trucks and trailers. This position will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager/Supervisor. The Specialist's duties will also include ordering parts, managing inventory, conducting diagnostic tests, assisting technicians, as well as any other shop-related tasks.
Work Schedule:
Daily reporting to the Timmins, Ontario Hub with service calls into the field via a company provided vehicle when needed.
Winter 4 on 4 off, to support operations and business needs.
Summer 4 on 4 off or 4-10's rotating, on call may be required to support operations and business needs.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years truck and coach experience.
Certificate of Qualification (310S and 310T)
Red Seal Qualification is considered a must.
Experience maintaining Cummins, Paccar engines and Kenworth trucks.
Ability to diagnose and repair engines, electrical systems, and brake components.
Excellent organizational and technical communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence and to deal tactfully with a wide range of personalities.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive movements at times.
Exceptional work ethic with a positive, analytical, and safe work attitude.
Basic computer skills.
Must be safety minded, a self-starter, and a team player.
Candidates must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check, Fit-for-Duty, and D&A screen to be considered for employment.
