Job Title: Director Protective Services and Emergency Management

About the Role

The Director, Protective Services, Health Emergency Management and Parking Services is a strategic leader responsible for contributing to the development and achievement of strategy by articulating gaps and needs. This role supports strategy through the development and execution of operational and business plans, including cascading, monitoring, reporting, and course correction of same.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute operational and business plans to support strategy
  • Articulate gaps and needs to contribute to the development and achievement of strategy
  • Lead and coach others to achieve organizational goals
  • Collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholders to achieve results
  • Interpret and apply legislation, guidelines, and policy to inform decision-making
Requirements
  • Seven (7) years leadership experience
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
