Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sushi Wara. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and training.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and maintain work schedules to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen and dining areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen and dining areas are fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is also required.
