About the Role
At Safe Fleet, we are a leading provider of fleet safety solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in capturing new business opportunities and driving growth for our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage proposals for RFPs and RFIs, ensuring timely and compliant submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to ensure proposals are competitive and meet customer needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Manage and maintain bid spec documents, templates, and images to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Serve as the contract administrator for cooperative purchasing programs, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales teams and subject matter experts.
- Provide training and support to sales personnel on cooperative contract requirements and utilization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in proposal development and management, with a strong understanding of RFP and RFI processes.
- Excellent communication, writing, and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe or Nuance PDF creator, with experience with Salesforce CRM a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in the law enforcement industry, with a strong understanding of the market and customer needs.
What We Offer
At Safe Fleet, we offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $74,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
