Business System Analyst Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business System Analyst to join our team at Lordco Auto Parts. As a Business System Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our supply chain and retail operations teams and the technology systems that drive their business.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Identify, plan, develop, implement, and be an ambassador for technical change.
* Collaborate with multiple business functions and IT teams to develop and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.
* Analyze data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance our retail operations.
* Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and technological investment.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and performance metrics.
* Conduct systems analysis and design activities that deliver technical solutions to business opportunities.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations for various business partners that will drive our retail strategies and contribute to our company's continued success.

**Requirements**

* Diploma/degree in both computer science and business studies.
* Strong communication skills that enable IT to collaborate with business partners on new initiatives.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software like PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik.
* Experience in a large-scale retail IT environment.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of IT systems, relational databases, and data analysis.
* The ability to excel at identifying and understanding business problems with a proven track record of translating those problems into requirements for working solutions.
* Familiarity with modern retail IT architecture, development practices, and retail business concepts such as advanced inventory planning, merchandising technologies, supply chain technologies, retail analytics, etc.
* A portfolio that showcases your strong project management experience.
