Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business System Analyst to join our team at Lordco Auto Parts. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our supply chain and retail operations teams and the technology systems that drive their business.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify, plan, develop, implement, and be an ambassador for technical change. You will collaborate with multiple business functions and IT teams to develop and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and implement solutions that enhance our retail operations.
  2. Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to track KPIs and performance metrics.
  3. Conducting systems analysis and design activities that deliver technical solutions to business opportunities.
  4. Providing actionable insights and recommendations for various business partners that will drive our retail strategies and contribute to our company's continued success.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Business System Analyst with a strong IT background and a passion for leveraging technology to drive retail success. If you have a knack for directly engaging with team members that use the software being implemented and enjoy projects where you are involved from requirement gathering through to delivery, then this is the job for you.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.

Requirements:
  1. Diploma/degree in both computer science and business studies.
  2. 5+ years of professional development experience within an enterprise environment.
  3. Strong communication skills that enable IT to collaborate with business partners on new initiatives.
  4. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software like PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  5. Experience in a large-scale retail IT environment.
  6. Extensive knowledge and experience of IT systems, relational databases, and data analysis.
  7. The ability to excel at identifying and understanding business problems with a proven track record of translating those problems into requirements for working solutions.
  8. A demonstrated history of success in problem-solving complex issues with a strong attention to detail.
  9. A background in making critical and successful decisions under pressure.
  10. Knowledge of the retail industry.
  11. Familiarity with modern retail IT architecture, development practices, and retail business concepts such as advanced inventory planning, merchandising technologies, supply chain technologies, retail analytics, etc.
  12. A portfolio that showcases your strong project management experience.
