Event Coordinator

Nova Halifax is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our marketing events and customer service team. As an Event Assistant, you will play a key role in producing branded client events from conception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction
- Meet personal and event team sales targets through completion of sales daily at event sites across the Halifax region
- Provide accurate and complete information to customers to give them the best deal possible
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Liaise with management to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain the overall appearance, layout, and design of events
- Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and attract new customers to events
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
- A basic knowledge of computer applications
- The ability to work under pressure and problem solve
- Legal to work in Canada (Work Visas and Authorizations welcome)
- Regional, national, and international travel opportunities
