Marketing Events Role Overview
Nova Halifax is seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Events Assistant to join our marketing events and customer service team. As a Marketing Events Assistant, you will be responsible for working with our marketing events team to produce branded client events from conception through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction
- Meet personal and event team sales targets through completion of sales daily at our event sites across the Halifax region
- Provide accurate and complete information to customers to give them the best deal possible
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Liaise with management to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain the overall appearance, layout, and design of the event
- Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and attract new customers to the event
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
- A basic knowledge of computer applications
- The ability to work under pressure and problem solve
- Be 18 years or older to qualify for this position
- Be legal to work in Canada (Work Visas and Authorizations are welcome)
