Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Winter Maintenance Operator to join our team. As a Winter Maintenance Operator, you will safely operate a combo plow unit, performing snow removal on local roads and highways as per the contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a combo plow unit to clear snow and ice from roads and highways
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
  • Meet call-in requirements during winter storm events

Requirements

  • AZ or DZ license with a clean driver's abstract required
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to drive manual transmission
  • Previous experience in winter-works operations
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment
