Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our Occupational Therapy team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to occupational therapy staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and provide work direction to occupational therapy staff, ensuring operational requirements are met and optimal use of staff resources is achieved.
- Develop and maintain clinical practice reference manuals, policies, and procedures, and implement clinical practice, regulatory, accreditation, and Fraser Health occupational therapy acute care standards.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Practice Leader and other clinical areas to provide recommendations for improvement and participate in quality and safety activities.
- Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets, and monitor expenditures for the section.
- Provide student supervision and evaluation, and coordinate student practicum learning activities and practicum experiences.
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Three years' recent and relevant occupational therapy experience, including one year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
- Ability to supervise, provide work direction, and guidance to others, and provide effective performance evaluation.
- Ability to allocate staff assignments to meet program requirements using available resources.
