Job Title: Construction Cost Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team at ONTARIO INC. as a permanent employee working 30 hours per week in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimates.
  • Analyze tenders and recommend awards based on cost and quality.
  • Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms to clients.
  • Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering.
  • 1 year of experience in construction cost estimation or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Criminal record check.
