Regional Operations Specialist

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional seeking a challenging role in operations management?
We have an exciting opportunity for a District Operations Coordinator at H&R Block Canada, where you will play a key role in supporting our district retail offices.
About the RoleThe District Operations Coordinator reports directly to the District Manager and is responsible for providing operational support to our district locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations Support
- Travel to various office locations to provide training, ensure excellent client standards, set up computer equipment, and install marketing signage.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard talent.
- Monitor and adjust office and staffing schedules as necessary.
- Coordinate the setup and shutdown of assigned offices.
- Support the planning and execution of training and development initiatives.
- Maintain asset management inventory, process invoice payments, and manage petty cash.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant employment and privacy legislation.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or a similar customer-oriented industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, particularly during Tax Season.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to set up workstation computers and work with various software packages.
- Capable of working independently with little or no direct supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages an asset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel regularly to multiple district offices.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, vehicle registration, and a reliable vehicle.
H&R Block Canada offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you can expect:
