We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Fit Specialist to join our team at Proforce Personnel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all garments and accessories meet the highest standards of fit, look, style, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create technical specifications for new and updated products based on existing specifications, new product analyses, prototypes, or physical samples.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are consistently in line with company guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain fit blocks and standards for each commodity to ensure fit consistency.
  • Understand and be a reference for baby law regulations and labeling.
  • Measure and fit samples to guarantee the desired fit is consistently achieved.
  • Provide clear, descriptive, and timely fit comments to vendors.
  • Produce fit sketches to assist vendors in correcting fit issues.
  • Create and maintain care label and law label library.
  • Maintain daily communication and follow-up with vendors and internal teams throughout the production process to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Conduct fit sessions on mannequins.
  • Take detailed FIT measurements, enter specs, and grading.
  • Write corrections and recommendations clearly and concisely to be understood by overseas suppliers.
  • Participate in the creation of tech packs when needed.
  • Communicate with suppliers on a daily basis.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the apparel industry, with a focus on children's apparel.
  • Proficiency in software: Illustrator, Excel, Office Suite.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with fitting procedures and grading.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work effectively both in a team and independently.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of and experience with baby law regulations.
