Eddyfi Technologies is a leading international high-tech company that offers high-performance non-destructive testing solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical HR Director to join our team in Quebec City.

Company Overview

We develop, produce and market non-destructive testing devices: sensors, probes, robotic solutions, etc., as well as the necessary operating software. Our instruments have applications in various industries, including oil & gas, aerospace and nuclear.

Job Description

The Technical HR Director will be responsible for managing HR systems and payroll processes. This role involves supervising a team of 5 collaborators, ensuring the proper functioning and performance of the Dayforce system, and overseeing its evolution based on the company's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR System Management:
    • Ensure the configurations are compliant with current legislation and the company's internal standards.
    • Safeguard personal data security and ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations (GDPR).
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and support a team of HR system specialists and payroll managers.
    • Organize team meetings, set objectives, monitor performance, and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Payroll Process Optimization:
    • Analyze current processes and propose improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors or redundancies.
    • Establish performance indicators to monitor various aspects of HR and payroll management.
    • Identify and resolve technical or functional issues arising in the use of the system.
  • Coordination with Other Departments:
    • Work closely with the HR, Finance, IT departments, and other stakeholders to ensure the integrated and smooth management of information.
    • Ensure clear and effective communication with operational teams, providing technical and functional support to resolve payroll and HR system-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in computer science, information systems management, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in managing HR systems and leading teams.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to understand the needs of various business units/HR partners and translate them into effective technical HR solutions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical challenges to stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits

This position comes with an estimated annual salary of $95,000 - $125,000 CAD, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a flexible schedule, telecommuting options, five paid holidays during the holiday season, and an on-site gym with great workout and yoga sessions at lunchtime.
