Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and clear interpretation during online calls, ensuring effective communication between all parties.
  • Utilize your language skills to navigate conversations in specialized fields such as Healthcare, Insurance, Financial, and Law Enforcement, adapting to industry-specific terminologies.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and understanding to create an inclusive atmosphere, fostering a positive and effective communication environment.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy during all interactions.
  • Adhere to schedules and participate in training sessions to elevate your interpretation skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and one of the following languages: Armenian, Bengali, Burmese, Cantonese, Chin Hakha, Fukienese, German, Haitian Creole, Hungarian, Italian, Karen, Khmer, Kinyarwanda, Kurdish Sorani, Lao, Mandarin, Modern Standard Arabic, Moroccan Arabic, Mongolian, Nepali, Oromo, Rohingya, Russian, Serbian, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Uzbek, Vietnamese, Wolof.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Confidence with medical terminology.
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week.
  • Residency in Canada.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
  • Suitable quiet and secure work-at-home environment.
  • Stable and fast internet connection.
