Job Summary

This role is crucial in providing reporting solutions, developing predictive models, and uncovering actionable insights, with a particular focus on identifying leading indicators for customer churn and retention.

About the Role

This position involves analyzing large datasets, collaborating with team members to interpret findings, and presenting recommendations for data-driven business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of cannabis consumers motivated by medical needs.
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical analysis tools such as Python and R.
  • Generate reports and visualizations with Excel and Power BI.
  • Conduct cohort analysis and customer segmentation to understand patient behavior patterns.
  • Perform churn analysis and develop predictive models for customer retention using machine learning techniques.
  • Analyze patient feedback and sentiment data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to analyze campaign effectiveness and optimize customer acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical frameworks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, using data storytelling techniques to drive decision-making.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging analytics technologies, recommending new tools or methodologies as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance/Economics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
  • Proven track record of using data analysis to drive business insights and decision-making.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI and Excel.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and programming languages like Python or R.
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms.
