Product Verification Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Verification Specialist to join our team at Evertz Microsystems. As a key member of our production suite team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software and hardware products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough system-level testing and validation of our software and hardware products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  2. Collaborate with our development team to plan and execute tests throughout the product design cycle.
  3. Identify and track defects in our project management database, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  4. Develop and maintain test procedures and conformance forms, as well as update product documentation to reflect changes.
  5. Provide technical support to customers, including problem replication and resolution.
  6. Maintain and troubleshoot lab testing equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
  7. Assist with demo preparation and help identify areas for improvement in our product line.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant work experience in software validation, quality assurance, hardware validation, or system test engineering.
  2. Degree or diploma in computer, electrical, or systems engineering, or a related field.
  3. Experience with data communication networks and associated protocols, such as TCP, UDP, and QoS, is an asset.
  4. Knowledge of Linux and experience with Jira, Confluence, and/or Testrail are also desirable.
  5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
