Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Verification Specialist to join our team at Evertz. As a key member of our production suite, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software and hardware products.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough system-level testing and validation of our software and hardware products.
  • Collaborate with our development team to plan and execute tests throughout the product design cycle.
  • Identify and track defects in our project management database, and work with the development team to resolve them.
  • Develop and maintain test procedures and conformance forms, and contribute to the update of product documentation.
  • Provide technical support to customers, including problem replication and resolution.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lab testing equipment.
  • Assist with demo preparation and identify opportunities for product improvement.
Qualifications
  • Relevant work experience in software validation, quality assurance, hardware validation, or system test engineering.
  • Degree or diploma in computer, electrical, or systems engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Linux and experience with Jira, Confluence, and/or Testrail are assets.
  • Understanding of video and compression is desirable.
  • Experience working with customers is an asset.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel to live production events.
