Job Title: Product Verification Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Verification Specialist to join our team at Evertz. As a key member of our production suite team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software and hardware products.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough system-level testing and validation of software and hardware components
  • Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute tests throughout the product design cycle
  • Identify and track defects in our project management database, working closely with the development team to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain test procedures and conformance forms, as well as update product documentation to reflect changes
  • Provide technical support to customers, including problem replication and resolution
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lab testing equipment
  • Assist with demo preparation and identify opportunities for product improvement

Qualifications:

  • Relevant work experience in software validation, quality assurance, hardware validation, or system test engineering
  • Degree or diploma in computer, electrical, or systems engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Linux is an asset
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and/or Testrail is an asset
  • Understanding of video and compression is desirable
  • Experience working with internal and external customers is an asset
