Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Seniors Wellness. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work with seniors to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical evaluations, including admission assessments, ADL assessments, and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
  • Identify appropriate equipment needs and provide recommendations.
  • Consult with local vendors regarding equipment trials and complete applications for funding.
  • Provide education on seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aides.
  • Record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts.

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • ADP Authorization required.
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
