Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Wikwemikong Nursing Home. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist physiotherapists in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for patients.
- Implement treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to physiotherapists.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- College diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or healthcare support).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or occupational therapy department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
