Senior Enterprise Sales Professional

Located in Vancouver or anywhere in North America, this exciting opportunity awaits a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Enterprise Sales Professional to spearhead the growth of ActiveState's SaaS platform sales.
About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional sales professional with a proven track record of driving new business growth in medium to large enterprises across the US and Europe. As an Enterprise Account Executive at ActiveState, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing high-value sales opportunities, building strong relationships with IT decision-makers, and negotiating complex deals that drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for sales, technology, and entrepreneurship. They possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of software sales and technical products, and the ability to navigate complex selling environments. Key Responsibilities
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies and tactics
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT administrators, and software developers
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and optimize existing ones
- Develop and present compelling product demos, case studies, and proposals to secure new business and expand existing relationships
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and maximize sales outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline performance using CRM tools like Salesforce
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the software or IT industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of software sales, technical products, and industry trends
- Proficiency in CRM tools, such as Salesforce, and data analysis techniques
