Job Description

This is a dynamic role that requires strong technical sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of solar energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing customer needs, sizing and pricing solar systems, and presenting these solutions to residential homeowners. This position also involves managing inbound leads, conducting site visits, and maintaining a CRM database for accounts and opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Deliver customer-based utilization services, including equipment selection, sizing, quoting, selling, and installation.
  • Manage inbound leads, assess technical and physical replacement requirements, and conduct site visits as needed.
  • Prepare pricing, proposals, contracts, and assist with project coordination and customer communication.
  • Maintain a CRM database for accounts and opportunities, collecting customer information and market intelligence.
  • Conduct canvassing and selling to new and existing customers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent working experience.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience in solar or other technical sales.
  • Good computer skills, particularly with solar modeling software like Aurora Solar.
  • Proven results in delivering performance objectives and sales targets (meeting or exceeding goals).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with in-home sales experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Your compensation package will include benefits, such as health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
