About the Role

Mackenzie Investments is seeking a seasoned Digital Risk Management Leader to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of operational risks in products, activities, processes, and systems across IGM.

This leadership position will set the enterprise risk strategy and risk appetite and mature, expand, and optimize IGM's information risk management capabilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, advise, supervise, and coordinate the implementation of the IGM IT security, risk, and compliance framework.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership team to develop an enterprise security vision.
  • Develop and publish risk management policies and guidelines, including third-party risk assessments.
  • Digest and report on issues to leadership and, where applicable, to 2nd Line of Defense partners.
  • Lead discussions with 2nd Line partners about potential solutions to identified issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • E nsure risk issues are identified, managed, and reported per enterprise policy/guidelines.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressively senior IT risk and compliance experience.
  • Strong risk management expertise.
  • Experience developing financial and non-financial risk management methodologies.
  • A strong track record of successfully developing and executing risk methodologies.
  • Experience working with legal, audit, and compliance staff.
  • Experience with common information security management frameworks.
  • One or more industry-recognized information professional designations.
Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
