Team Leader and Manufacturing Operations Specialist

As a Team Leader and Manufacturing Operations Specialist at Pharmascience, you will play a key role in supporting operators in their tasks, acting as a resource person and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and current safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of GMP and be able to manage time and priorities effectively, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  1. Verify the documentation provided by operators to ensure it meets good documentation practices;
  2. Check manufacturing steps, including countersignatures;
  3. Assist and verify critical steps in real-time, such as punch verification and production departure verification;
  4. Follow up on timesheets and confirm upon receipt;
  5. Act as backup operator or supervisor when necessary and according to skills;
  6. Replace breaks and lunch to ensure continuous operation when necessary, depending on the sector of activity;
  7. Respect GMP and current safety tasks, making recommendations when necessary;
  8. Perform all other operator tasks related to the sector of activity.

Improved Manufacturing Processes

  1. Respect GMP and current safety tasks, making recommendations when necessary;
  2. Optimize set-ups, organization, and working methods in work rooms to meet or improve standard times;
  3. Actively participate in problem-solving in the sector;
  4. Actively participate in continuous improvement projects;
  5. Act as a technical resource person for the sector of activity.

Training of Production Staff

  1. Support accompanying trainers.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  1. Excellent knowledge of GMP;
  2. Good mechanical skills;
  3. Autonomous and ability to work in a team;
  4. Basic computer knowledge;
  5. Ability to manage time and priorities effectively;
  6. Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
  7. Continuous process improvement approach;
  8. Skills in problem-solving.
