Pharmascience is currently seeking a skilled Packaging Automation Specialist to join its team at the Candiac site. This exciting opportunity involves working on automation projects and being part of the packaging team, responsible for carrying out packaging tasks from internal and external manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure adherence to employee safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and effective procedures throughout the packaging process.
  2. Qualify and requalify visual inspection machines to maintain compliance with industry standards.
  3. Operate visual inspection and packaging machines, performing tasks such as assembly, adjustments, and disassembly of equipment.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities, including room and equipment logbooks, inspection and packaging batch records, status labels, and printing reports.
  5. Clean equipment, production areas, and transfer bins to uphold a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ability to maintain compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work effectively within a team.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, enabling seamless communication with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and mechanical maintenance.
