Job Summary:

Imagine Wireless Inc is looking for an experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, sales, and inventory management in our retail stores. Key responsibilities include assigning duties, hiring and training staff, and preparing reports. As a member of our retail team, you will be responsible for managing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management. Main Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • Authorize payments by cheque
  • Order merchandise
  • Authorize return of merchandise
  • Establish work schedules
  • Sell merchandise
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

Work Environment:
Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking required. Standing for extended periods is necessary. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and a team player with excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a client-focused approach. A strong work ethic, flexibility, and accuracy are also essential for success in this role. The position offers a permanent work term with a 40-hour work week and a bonus. Work language is English.
