Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team at Banff Convenience. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they meet the high standards of our company.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that our store is always fully stocked.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers to ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Ability to relocate to Banff, Alberta.
