Hankki Banff is seeking a skilled Lead Chef to oversee kitchen operations and prepare special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
About the Role:This role involves preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as ensuring that kitchens and food service areas are clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and Cook Complete Meals or Individual Dishes and Foods: Develop and implement recipes for special meals, taking into account dietary restrictions and allergies.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment and utensils.
- Supervise Kitchen Staff: Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain Inventory: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Culinary Skills: Proven experience in cooking and preparing special meals for patients with various dietary needs.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate kitchen staff.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
