About the JobThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency are met.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards, meeting the requirements of customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Collaborate with dietitians and chefs to prepare special meals for patients as instructed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; equivalent experience also considered.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
