About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Foods Chef to join our team at Fresh Tiffin Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating new recipes, preparing and cooking complete meals and specialty foods for events, and supervising cooks and other kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Development: Create new and innovative recipes that meet our high quality standards.
  • Culinary Operations: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, including banquets and special functions.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless culinary operations.
  • Menu Planning: Plan menus that meet our quality standards and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Cuisine Specialties: Develop and maintain expertise in East Indian cuisine and other specialty cuisines.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with tight deadlines and high standards.
  • Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail in all culinary operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
