About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Foods Chef to join our team at O ESPETA RESTAURANT INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and execute menus that showcase our specialty foods and meet the highest quality standards.

Culinary Leadership

Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service by preparing and presenting food that meets the needs and expectations of our customers.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Work Setting

This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Physical Demands

This role requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cuisine Specialties

Experience in preparing and presenting Portuguese cuisine is an asset.

Food Specialties

Experience in preparing and presenting bakery goods, desserts, cereals, grains, and pulses is an asset.
