About the RoleAs an Indigenous Student, you will gain valuable experience in HR functions and receive support to advance your healthcare career. You will participate in diverse HR activities and projects, collaborating with FNHA departments and the region to advance team objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with FNHA departments and the region to advance team objectives.
- Participate in the development and execution of recruitment and talent acquisition plans.
- Provide support for the recruitment process and assist with employee onboarding.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HR activities and processes.
- Contribute to initiatives focused on enhancing employee engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in recruitment, new employee onboarding, employee relations, customer service, and research.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Science, or related fields.
- A strong interest in HR and a willingness to learn and contribute to HR functions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Adaptability; the ability to adjust to a changing environment.
