The First Nations Health Authority is a leading health organization that prioritizes the well-being of Indigenous communities. We are committed to creating opportunities for Indigenous students and new graduates to gain valuable work experience and develop their professional skills.
Program Overview
The Indigenous Student Program is a 4-month internship that provides students with the opportunity to work with our team and gain exposure to First Nations healthcare. Our goal is to match students' education, skills, and career goals with the needs of the First Nations Health Authority.
Eligibility
- Indigenous students or new graduates
- Reside in British Columbia during the program
- Recent high-school graduate, enrollment in a post-secondary school, or recent graduate from a post-secondary institute
