About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Roots of Punjab Bar & Restaurant LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Management: Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, supervise, and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for staff and customers.
  • Supply Chain Management: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and quality.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
