Job Title: Assistant Manager, Restaurant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Roots of Punjab Bar & Restaurant LTD. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team is well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Management: Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, supervise, and train staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our staff and customers.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that we get the best possible prices and quality.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
