Key Responsibilities:- Consult with other healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans and develop effective strategies for patient care.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Interview clients, prepare case histories, and assess problems to identify areas for improvement.
- Record observations and maintain accurate records to track patient progress.
- Review reports from healthcare professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning levels.
- Use standard psychological tests for assessment and interpretation of results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide education to clients on health promotion, injury prevention, management, and treatment.
- Counsel individuals and groups to achieve more effective personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment.
- Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification
- Mental health first aid Certificate
- MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word proficiency
- Criminal record check
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
