Main Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Field Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10 people to ensure the production and delivery of high-quality transformers on time. You will develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Team leadership: Lead and motivate the team to achieve production and delivery goals.
  2. Process improvement: Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Interdisciplinary coordination: Ensure smooth communication between electrical and mechanical engineering teams.
  4. Problem Solving: Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues and implement design changes.
  5. Production Management: Oversee planning and execution of production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory requirements.
  6. Quality Control: Implement rigorous measures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  7. Safety Culture: Promote a safety culture by ensuring all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
  8. Data Analysis: Work with the Production Manager to analyze production data and make informed decisions.
  9. Talent Development: Recruit, train, and coach team members to build a high-performing team.
  10. Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of production capabilities and customer requirements.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field.
  3. Proven experience in engineering management, particularly in product development in the manufacturing sector.
  4. In-depth knowledge of transformer design, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
  5. Proven leadership and engineering project management skills.
  6. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder relationship management.
  7. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex technical information.
  10. Innovative mindset, focused on continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
  11. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands and technologies.
  12. Bilingual French and English (written and spoken).
