Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at JnB Homecare Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, nursing homes, or other care facilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Provide transportation to appointments and outings
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
