About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring patients.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to healthcare staff.
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a temporary, 32-hour per week position in a fast-paced nursing home/home for the aged environment.
