About the Role

This position will be responsible for providing medical support in the Emergency Department, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an Emergency Department setting and possess strong decision-making skills, leadership abilities, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical support in the Emergency Department
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized Physician Assistant Program
  • Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting (an asset)
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions in times of emergencies
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
