About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and organized Culinary Specialist to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill Innisfil. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and functions, including menu planning and food preparation.
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining a clean and organized inventory.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Time management skills and ability to work independently.
